Class Descriptions

Are you new to group fitness? There is no need to sign up ahead of time and you can join anytime. Come a few minutes early and let the instructor know it is your first time. Wear comfortable clothes, such as shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes.
Group Fitness Class Descriptions
--HIP HOP: Come and learn how to Hip Hop Dance! Combos are broken down into
easy movements. Learn a different dance every week. Drop in anytime,
everyone welcome! For all levels!
--BOOT CAMP: Come in for a total workout! This is a complete hour of weight lifting and cardio interval resistance training! you will use the exercise bands, hand weights, and more! Head to toe, total body toning! All levels. Everyone welcome!
--BOSU: This class will mix it up using the Bosu trainer focusing on cardio, toning, increasing balance, and sculpting your body. Try the Bosu, it is so much fun! Modifications available for a beginner. All levels. Everyone welcome!
--BOSU WITH SUPER ABS: Cardio on the BOSU followed by an awesome extended Abs workout! Your muscles will love it! Modifications available for a beginner. All levels.
--JUMP-N-JAM: This class will use the kickboxing bag and fun cardio floor moves. This high energy class will keep you moving! Everyone is welcome! All levels.
--KICKBOXING: This class uses the buoy kickboxing bags and traditional kickboxing moves to provide an awesome cardio workout. Fast moving and easy to follow. Hand wraps are required; they may be purchased at the front desk. All levels.
--FORCE FITNESS™: A great cardio workout using the step, jump rope, calisthenics, and one-pound hand weights in one-minute intervals. Force Fitness is easy to follow and fun to do. All levels.
--PILATES: Come and see what Hollywood is still raving about! Pilates concentrates on building the “powerhouse” consisting of the abdominals, back and gluts. Concentrate on developing the core to develop the strength of the body. This class is done primarily on the floor using a mat and the Pilates circle. All Levels. Everyone welcome!
--
KICKBOX COMBO: A one-hour and fifteen-minute class consisting of a full-length impact kickboxing cardio class, immediately followed by weights which focus on the upper body, and finishing with intensive abdominals and stretching. An all-in-one class! All levels welcome!
--VINYASA YOGA: THis a a "Flow" Yoga centered on the sun salutation where movement is timed to the breath to build flexibility and strength. Alignment and body awareness brings a sense of inner peace. Some experience with yoga is suggested. If you are new to yoga please let the teacher know before class.
--STUDIO STRENGTH: It is time to define your muscles and strengthen your body. This class is a wonderful way to do just that. This high rep, lower weight resistance class incorporates hand weights, the resist-a-ball, bar bell, resist-a-bands and more! You will work each muscle group from head to toe. All levels.
*All levels: from beginners to advanced, the class can be modified for newer participants.
Are you new to Group Fitness? Come a few minutes early and let the instructor know that this is your first time in the class. The instructor will be happy to help you get set up and tell you any tips on taking the class. Wear whatever is comfortable to you. Many people wear sweats or shorts and a t-shirt. Good athletic shoes are great, too! Do not worry about your fitness level, our instructors can provide you with options to lower of intensity of the class.
