Why do I need a personal trainer?
A personal trainer serves as a guide with the latest information on exercise and nutrition, saving you the research time. A good personal trainer will keep you motivated during your workouts. Your workouts should always be fun and stimulating.
Are there any other additional benefits to having a personal trainer?
Yes, you learn the newest, safest, and most efficient methods to perform each exercise. Your personal trainer is the ultimate workout partner as he or she will always keep an appointment and won't make excuses for not working out.

How long will I need a personal trainer?
This depends on what goals and level of commitment you set for yourself. Some clients like the positive energy and constant feedback that comes from working with a personal trainer. On the other hand, if you just want a "road map" for a workout routine, you may only need a few sessions. Should you need your routine modified, you might see your trainer occasionally.

Kay O'Connell has an extensive background in fitness. Kay has a degree in secondary science education, a minor in coaching, exercise physiology and physical education. Backing that up is six years of classroom teaching experience. She is a certified Pilates and Body pump instructor and continues to lead fabulous courses in our group fitness studio. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer with 20 years of fitness training experience. Kay's broad range of talent in the lines of physical fitness makes her an excellent trainer. |

Shelley Caron has been in the fitness industry for eight years. She is an ACE certified personal trainer and a NIHS certified exercise specialist. She also is a NETA certified group fitness instructor who specializes in cardio kickboxing and most recently Bosu Blast. Shelley is a jump force certified instructor and was recently part of its first video production that will be out in spring '05. She is currently continuing her education in the back specialist, senior population, and athletic training fields. Her energy and enthusiasm will help you work to bridge the gap to a more fit and healthier lifestyle. |
